Mercer County will be represented in four events on the final day of the IHSA Class 1A State Boys Track and Field Meet in Charleston on Saturday.
The 4×100 relay (John Baldwin, Jacob Kenney, Tannen Whitehall, Daylen Blaser) ran a time of 42.98, which was fourth-best in the prelims on Thursday. The 4×200 relay (Baldwin, Zander Huston, Whitehall, Blaser) also advanced with the fourth-best time in the prelims of 1:29.97.
Blaser also moved on in the long jump, while Jack McKnight will run in the 3200 on Saturday.
