WRMJ spoke with Sherrard High School senior football player Javin Jones for the High School Sports Spotlight on Thursday.
Jones was the Tigers’ varsity quarterback and started in the secondary in Sherrard’s two games this season before the program announced it would forfeit the remainder of its varsity games in 2026. While he doesn’t play in the junior varsity games, he continues to play on the scout team at practice and assist the team’s coaches during JV contests.
