FCC Applications

On April 11, 2023, Western Illinois Broadcasting, Inc., licensee of WRMJ(FM), 102.3 MHz,
Aledo, Illinois, filed an application with the Federal Communications Commission for the
assignment of WRMJ’s license to WRMJ LLC. Members of the public wishing to view this
application or obtain information about how to file comments and petitions on the application

On November 23, 2012, WRMJ was granted a license renewal by the Federal Communications Commission to serve the public interest as a public trustee until December 1st, 2020. Our license will expire on December 1st, 2020. We must file an application for license renewal with the FCC on August 1st, 2020. When filed, a copy of this application will be available for public inspection at www.fcc.gov. It contains information concerning the station’s performance over the last 8 years. Individuals who wish to advise the FCC of facts relating to our renewal application, and to whether this station has operated in the public interest, should file comments and petitions with the FCC by November 1st, 2020.
