A collision between a car and semi-tractor trailer results in only minor injuries in rural Aledo. The crash occurred at Illinois Route 94 and 60th Avenue on Monday. According to a Mercer County Sheriff’s Department report, the car had attempted a U-turn into the path of the oncoming semi-tractor trailer. The driver of the car received minor injuries. The driver of the semi was uninjured. The accident remains under investigation and citations may be issued.
