Mercer County beat Farmington in girls golf Monday, 227-250. Golden Eagle sophomore Elsie Cook was the medalist with a score of 50. Jayden Weeks fired a 53 for Mercer County in the victory.
Sherrard opened the 2023 boys golf season with a 169-182 win over Ridgewood Monday. Jacob Fratzke led the Tigers with a 40. Andrew Boland and Caden West each scored 42 for Sherrard. Ridgewood’s Brendan Bolduc was the medalist with a 37.
Orion began their boys golf season with by defeating Annawan-Wethersfield, 201-220. Ethan Wardlow was the medalist aftering shooting a 48 for the Chargers.
