The Aledo City Council continues to explore incentives for a proposed housing addition.
The council’s TIF Committee discussed the Sponsler Manor Third Addition site earlier this week says Mayor Chris Hagloch.
The first phase of the development would involve 11 lots. The city acquired the property, which is north of the First Baptist Church, for $215,000. The city now also owns Sponsler Lake.
