Mercer County (0-2) fell in three sets to Monmouth-Roseville (2-0) in volleyball Wednesday night.
Each set was decided by two points. The Titans took the first set, 25-23, the Golden Eagles responded by taking the second set, 25-23, to force a third set. Monmouth-Roseville won the third set, 26-24, to take the match.
Molly Hofmann led Mercer County with 12 kills in the loss. Brylee Marston had 29 assists for the Golden Eagles.
