Mercer County’s girls cross country team won its second invite of the season on Saturday, taking first at Princeton’s Gary Coates Invitational.
The Golden Eagles scored 27, which tied for the lowest-ever girls’ score in the 53-year history of the event. Mercer County had eight medalists, including first-place finisher Emalyn Millar. The other Golden Eagles who finished inside the top 30 were Brookelyn Clark, Helen Baldwin, Kyra Cardine, Stormie Herrera, Abigail Struble, Delaney Millar, and Jema Hajostek.
