The construction process is underway at the new BankOrion location in Aledo.
The new location will be on the corner of Southeast Third Street and Southeast Third Avenue, across the street from the Aledo Happy Joes and the Aledo Fire Station. BankORION purchased the Chiropractic Arts Center building, land behind it, and a private garage for the project.
The project is currently in its demolition phase, where it is clearing out the existing buildings. Following the demolition phase, the construction of the new building will begin.
BankORION President and CEO Matt Bollinger says it’s exciting to take the first step in the process.
Bollinger says the bank is hoping to finish the demolition process by the end of the month. A targeted opening for the new Aledo BankORION facility is June 2026.
The current BanKORION building was sold to Mark Bieri, who agreed to lease the property back to the bank until the new facility is opened.
