With more snowfall expected this afternoon and into this evening, local school districts have announced early dismissals on Monday.
The Rockridge School District will be dismissing students at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. The Sherrard School District is dismissing students from the Jr/Sr High School at 1 p.m. and students from the district’s elementary schools at 2 p.m. on Monday.
The Mercer County School District will be dismissing school at 12:30 p.m. on Monday. There will be no afternoon preschool and no after-school practices or evening games.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for the WRMJ listening area from noon until midnight with two to four inches of snow expected, according to the National Weather Service.
