Aledo’s 20th annual Holly Days is set for this weekend.
The two-day event kicks off Friday with an electric parade through downtown Aledo, the lighting of the Aledo Christmas Tree, and the Aledo Trees in the Park.
Pictures with Santa Claus will be available at Myrna Rae’s Studio of Dance on Friday. Saturday begins with the Hot Chocolate Hustle 5K, and holiday vendors will be available both days.
The event is Luau themed this year, says Aledo Main Street Executive Director Lindsey Dunn.
Aledo Mayor Chris Hagloch is looking forward to Holly Days.
The electric parade begins at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
