An Aledo man is facing meth possession charges after he was arrested attempting to flee a traffic stop on a bicycle.
According to a Mercer County Sheriff’s Department press release, 33-year-old Aerick Session was stopped for a minor traffic violation while riding a bicycle on Thursday. Deputies say Session was apprehended after he tried to flee from the stop.
Session is charged with resisting arrest, possession of methamphetamine, and attempted fleeing/eluding. He remains in custody at the Mercer County Jail pending an initial court appearance.
