Aledo Mayor Chris Hagloch still hopeful a mural design can be completed at a downtown building later this year. The property is the former Gun Report storefront. The owner was seeking ideas through artist submissions to Quad City Arts.
A ”Welcome to Aledo” mural adorned the south side of the building, but was wiped clean during renovations to the property last year.
