The New Windsor Fair, Rodeo, and Horse Show is back for the 84th year in New Windsor, Illinois. It starts next Thursday, August 15th, and continues the 16th and 17th. There are eight rodeo events that provide something for everyone: bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding, calf roping, steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing, cowgirl break-away roping, and bull riding. Last year’s Rodeo Parade on Thursday evening brought plenty of entries and packed sidewalks in the eastern Mercer County community. An even bigger turnout is expected this year. Look for the WRMJ convertible during the parade.
