WRMJ spoke with Sherrard High School baseball standout Aidan Terronez at the school’s signing day ceremony Friday afternoon.
Terronez signed to play baseball at the NCAA Division I level at the University of Illinois-Chicago. He committed to UIC in August of 2024.
Terronez picked up his 250th career strikeout in the Tigers’ 3-1 win over Rockridge on Thursday. The left-handed pitcher is 2-0 with a 0.34 ERA this season. He’s allowed six hits and struck out 35 batters in 20.2 innings.
