WRMJ spoke with Sherrard girls track and field coach Todd Volkert this week. The Tigers won their third consecutive sectional title at the IHSA Class 1A Erie Sectional earlier this week. It was the 13th sectional championship for Volkert at Sherrard.
The Tigers qualified for state in 10 events Wednesday, which moved the number of state qualifiers under Volkert at Sherrard to 203.
