Some extra money is coming to the Aledo American Legion and it’s all thanks to a submission from an Aledo Insurance Agent. Bob Vickrey of the Don R. Vickrey Agency was a winner of the IMT Insurance Community Contest. Vickrey often submits community entries for contests from insurance company, also won money for the community in 2006.
“IMT was gracious enough back there in 2006 to award us for the band shell, $500. So we were very thankful back then (and) gracious again this year to get the thousand dollars to present August 14th at the American Legion Post 121 regular meeting. We do several charitable giving contests, that we call our community contest, so it’s made particularly, or designed for projects in the community that are beneficial.”
That’s IMT ‘s Mike Sebben who says more money could be on the way. The Aledo American Legion is now eligible to win one of eight $2,500 prizes that IMT Insurance will be giving away on Giving Tuesday following Thanksgiving.
