The Ridgewood co-op made two varsity coaching hires at Thursday’s Cambridge School District Board of Education meeting.
Dawson Anderson was named head football coach. Anderson replaces Pat Elder, who accepted the Bureau Valley head coaching job last month. Elder led Ridgewood in its first three years in 8-man football and compiled a record of 28-7. The Spartans went 9-2 in 2024.
Tom Moriaity was hired as the co-op’s boys basketball coach, replacing Brent Vincent. Vincent led the Spartans for three seasons.
