The results are in from added enforcement during Super Bowl weekend by the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department. The detail was funded through a grant from the Illinois Department of Transportation. The extra enforcement resulted in two DUI arrests, two warrant arrests, and over two dozen citations for various violations including speeding, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, registration issues, failure to wear seat belt, driving while license suspended and driving while license revoked.
