A public transportation service has launched in Mercer County.
Warren County Public Transportation started providing bus rides for Mercer County residents this week. The service is free for the first two weeks.
The bus provides transportation around the county and to the Quad Cities, Galesburg, and other local cities and towns.
Morgan Lewis is director of transportation for Warren County.
To use the service, call 309-734-6001.
Lewis says rides will cost anywhere from $1 to $10 when the free period ends in a couple of weeks based on distance.
