Pamela A. Jenkins – Services 6/3/22

Pamela A. Jenkins, 68 of LaBelle, Missouri, formerly of Aledo, Illinois, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022 at home. Cremation has been accorded. Services are 1 p.m., Friday, June 3, at Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo. Burial is in the Hamlet Cemetery. Visitation is noon until the time of services at Fippinger’s where memorials may be left to the Lupus Foundation. Online condolences can be made at fippingerfuneralhome.com.

She was born March 24, 1954 in Muscatine, Iow, to Walter “Boots” and Shirley Slaughter Malone. Pam attended Westmer schools and graduated from La’ James Cosmetology in East Moline. She married Kenneth Jenkins December 31, 1999 in Aledo. He died July 23, 2001.

Pam was employed at the Aledo Maid Rite and purchased the restaurant in 1991, retiring in 1998. She was then employed as a nail technician, retiring in 2012.

She enjoyed reading, watching television, and especially loved her family and grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters, Jennifer (Josh Chrisman) Hayden of Kirksville, Missouri, and Janette (Eric) Stewart of LaBelle; one son, Jacob Jenkins of LaBelle; three grandchildren, Jasmine Mack, Josie Stewart, and Jesse (Brianna) Stewart; four great grandchildren, Braelynn, Angel, Lucas, and Ayla; two brothers, Randy (Janet) Malone of Aledo and Don (Leah) Malone of Rushville, Illinois; several nieces and nephews; and one special canine companion, Cooper.

Her parents; husband, Kenneth; and one brother, Michael, preceded her in death.
