The Mercer Foundation for Health Nurse Scholarship program is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Foundation for Health Director Al Zwilling explains what the program is all about.
Zwilling said the scholarship program is funded by the annual golf outing, donations from individuals who received great care when patients of Genesis Health Systems, and through the Gaye Reiser Foundation, which chooses a Gaye Reiser Scholar each year. Reiser was a former Genesis nurse and the daughter of Joe and Shirley Reiser of Aledo.
