Aledo Woman’s Meth Delivery Case Continued To Next Week

An Aledo woman facing meth delivery charges will return to court next week.

33-year-old Emily Colson appeared in Mercer County Circuit Court on Monday for a pre-trial conference, where the matter was continued to May 11.

Colson is charged with a Class X felony of possession with intent to deliver between 100-400 grams of methamphetamine and a Class X felony of possession of between 100-400 grams of methamphetamine.

According to a press release from the Aledo Police Department following Colson’s arrest last September, Aledo Police and Quad Cities MEG agents collected enough evidence to get a search warrant for a residence in Aledo. During the search of the residence, officers say a package was located that contained 250 grams of methamphetamine and 15 MDMA pills.
