LRS Announces Customer Support Hotline For Aledo Residents

LRS has implemented a customer support hotline for Aledo residents to report delays in trash and recycling collection.

The City of Aledo announced the hotline in a press release from its public relations firm on Monday morning.

Aledo residents can call 309-734-2515 to reach the Monmouth office of LRS to report any concerns. The City of Aledo held a meeting wth LRS earlier this month regarding the company’s performance after sending a letter of notification to LRS concerning the company not fulfilling the terms of its contract.

“Having a direct line of communication between our residents and LRS is a step in the right direction to improve service delivery for Aledo,” said Michael Chausse, Aledo City Administrator, in a statement. “However, we also have heard hundreds of resident complaints and continue to work with LRS to correct service delivery issues.”

The current contract between the City of Aledo and LRS runs through 2028.
