The two people charged in a Mercer County drug-induced death investigation will return to Mercer County Circuit Court later this month.
43-year-old William DeWitt of Milan and 54-year-old Susan McFalls of Colona were arrested in April 2024 in connection with the December 2023 death of Anthony Qualls of rural Sherrard.
DeWitt is facing charges of first-degree murder and drug-induced homicide. McFalls is charged with first-degree murder and drug-induced homicide via accountability.
DeWitt will be back in court on Oct. 20. McFalls returns to court on Oct. 21.
