Rockridge (7-0, 5-0 TRAC Rock) clinched an outright conference championship with a 61-24 win over Mercer County (1-6, 0-5 TRAC Rock) Friday night. Cullen Schwigen passed for five TDs and rushed for a score, bringing his season total to 30 TDs in seven games. The Rockets racked up 523 yards of total offense in the win.
Orion (2-5, 1-4 TRAC Rock) had its playoff hopes dashed in a 40-14 loss to Erie-Prophetstown (5-2, 3-2 TRAC Rock).
Sherrard (1-6, 1-4 TRAC Mississippi) picked up its first win of the season over Kewanee (0-7, 0-5 TRAC Mississippi) 52-7.
