An independent film shot in Aledo is set to premiere during Rhubarb Fest weekend.
“Everything Fun You Could Possibly Do In Aledo, Illinois” was shot in Aledo in 2022. It will be shown six times, Friday and Saturday, at the newly renovated Aledo Opera House.
Filmmaker Christina Shaver says she and her film crew had a great time shooting in Aledo.
The movie premieres at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. There are also showings at 7 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. on Saturday.
