Celia A. Hart – Visitation 3/2/25

Celia A. Hart, 82 of Aledo, died Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Allure of Lake Storey in Galesburg. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, March 2, at Speer Funeral Home, Aledo. A private family burial will be held in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, North Henderson, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the Mercer County Athletic Boosters or the Mt. Vernon Cemetery.

Celia Ann was born on May 22, 1942, in Macomb, Illinois, to William Francis and Florence Ann (Mosher) Hart. She was a 1961 graduate of Alexis High School. Celia was previously married to Anthony Campagna, Rick Ricketts, and Ed Leeser.

Celia enjoyed helping people and cared for several elderly people in their homes. In her spare time, she enjoyed going around to yard sales, having a cold Pepsi, and cheering on her favorite teams which included the Aledo Green Dragons, the Iowa Hawkeyes Girls Basketball and Football, and the Chicago Bears. She really enjoyed listening to Sunday Night football when Al and Chris were the broadcasters. In her younger years, she was a Jaycee-ette and loved to ride her favorite horse, Beauty. Celia cherished time with the Rush family, and considered them part of her family.

Celia is survived by her children and their spouses, Paula and David Olson of Alexis, Toni and Brian Doubet of Galesburg, Chris and Karin Campagna of Oneida, Tanaya Ricketts, and Blake Leeser, both of Las Vegas; a brother, Richard Hart of Texas; grandchildren, Rachel Olson and Matteo Rondanina, Eric and Brooke Olson, Daniel and Jorden Doubet, Kyle Campagna and Alexis Hallden, Kasey Campagna, Kale Campagna, and Anthony Campbell; and great-grandchildren, Jackson, Clayton, Carlie, Cal, Lillian, Theo, and Vivian. Celia was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Mark Campagna; a brother, Robert Hart; and a sister-in-law, Ruth Hart.
