Hopes for a Dollar Tree in Aledo are no more. The Aledo City Council earlier this month rescinded a TIF agreement for the proposed store, which was to be located on the east side of Aledo says Mayor Chris Hagloch.
The project was originally announced in May of 2023. The proposed site was at a lot located west of Midwest Bank of Western Illinois.
