The Mercer Foundation for Health has a new program director.
Chip King started in the role earlier this month. King has previously served as an alderman for the City of New Boston.
The Foundation’s primary focus is to acquire financial support to assist in the area’s health care. In addition to equipment and facilities, the Foundation focuses on helping individuals manage chronic health concerns and help prevent chronic disease through population health programs.
King says being in the role means a lot to him.
