Mask Discussion Tops Rockridge School Board Meeting; Anderson Wants Districts To Support Resolution Pushing Local Control

The Rockridge School Board hears plenty of discussion on defying the Governor’s executive order on students and teachers wearing masks in the new school year. Over an hour of public comment was presented at last night’s board meeting, including from local State Senator Neil Anderson of Andalusia.

Board members Greg Marty and Derek Workman were the lone two members on record wanting the district to defy the Governor’s executive order. Classes begin Aug. 20 at Rockridge.
