The Mercer County YMCA expansion celebrated over the weekend. It’s a special time for Dr. Dennis Palmer, who was also involved in the original capital campaign to build the original facility in 1992.
The current campaign includes $3-million for the expansion and another $1-million for the endowment. So far, $3.3 million has been secured, which takes care of the building. The remaining balance is for the endowment. Anyone interested in contributing, can contact the Y. Pledges can be spread out over a 3-to-5 year period.
