The Mercer County VFW now has a generator, which allows the facility to serve as a shelter. The project was funded through a $52,000 donation from General Grind and Machine with landscaping and concrete work donated by Skinner Landscaping. The VFW’s Nick Seefeld is thankful for the generosity.
A ribbon cutting ceremony for the generator was held Friday night.
