Mercer County is represented by two members in Congress, and both serve in the House Ag Committee. But the two have differing positions on tariffs. Republican Mary Miller has been a major advocate for President Trump. She spoke in the House Ag Committee earlier this week.
Democrat Eric Sorensen says President Trump’s moves have been creating too much uncertainty.
Sorensen represents the eastern portion of Mercer County. Miller represents Aledo and western Mercer County.
