WRMJ spoke with Mercer County High School volleyball coach Lexi Stropes Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles opened practice Monday. Stropes took over the program last season and led MERCO to a 16-14 record.
Mercer County begins the season Tuesday, August 27, at Wethersfield.
