WRMJ talked with Sherrard boys basketball coach Alex Johnson, previewing the IHSA boys basketball postseason for Sportsline this week. The Tigers (16-10, 8-4 TRAC West) went 9-3 in their final 12 games of the regular season. 2022-23 was the first winning season for Sherrard in boys basketball in 13 years. The Tigers begin postseason play in the IHSA 2A Rockridge Regional Wednesday in the semi-finals against either Knoxville or Alleman.
