The Mercer County School District named its next high school principal at Wednesday’s Board of Education meeting.
Current West Central High School Assistant Principal and Athletic Director Joel Zaiser was hired for the position. He will officially take over as Mercer County High School principal on July 1.
Zaiser will replace Andrea Cooper, who accepted the Sherrard High School assistant principal job last month.
