A bright teal dress, a sparkling crown, and a warm smile—Rylee Ledbetter is embracing her new title as the 2025 Little Miss Rock Island County Fair with grace and enthusiasm.
Representing Rockridge schools, Rylee was selected during the annual pageant competition, where she impressed judges not only with her confidence but with her heartfelt answers. “They asked me what one of my favorite colors was,” Rylee said. “I chose teal.”
But beyond the glitz and fun of the crown, Rylee’s reason for entering the competition says a lot about her character. “I wanted to be Little Miss so I could meet other girls and build friendships,” she shared. Now, she’s already looking ahead to more pageants in the future.
Though she’s not currently raising animals, Rylee expressed interest in agriculture—something that might become part of her journey down the road. For now, she’s soaking up the fair experience, enjoying the rides, and sharing moments with the other girls who competed alongside her.
“It’s very fun,” she said. “Especially being with the girls that I won with.”
With poise beyond her years and a heart full of kindness, Rylee Ledbetter is a wonderful ambassador for the Rock Island County Fair—and a reminder that the next generation of fair royalty is in good hands.
