Sherrard High girls basketball coach Doug Swanson won his 300th game in the Tigers’ (4-1, 1-0 TRAC West) 56-32 win over Rockridge (3-3, 0-1 TRAC West) Monday.
Sherrard led 18-8 at the end of the first quarter and held a double-digit advantage the rest of the night, leading by as many as 27 points in the fourth quarter.
Voilet Meskan scored a game-high 17 points for the Tigers. Rachael Fender was also in double figures with 11.
In 15 seasons, Swanson has a career record of 300-104 at Sherrard and has led the Tigers to 10 regional championships.
