
A Quad Cities man charged with gunning down a Sherrard teen over two years ago has been apprehended. 23-year-Darvion Lard was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon in Moline by the U.S. Marshals Service. He is accused in the December of 2020 shooting death of 16-year-old Dylan McAlester. Lard is facing a First Degree Murder charge and is being held in the Rock Island County Jail on $1-million bond.
