The Rockridge Jr/Sr High School campus was evacuated on Thursday morning after a gas line was hit.
The Rockridge School District announced on social media that buses would be taking all students home from the campus who couldn’t drive, and no parent pick-up would be allowed on Thursday. The district said the area was fully evacuated and everyone is safe.
Construction of a brand-new centralized elementary school on the campus is ongoing.
