Mercer County Sheriff Dave Staley provided an update to WRMJ News Director Jim Taylor this morning on the ongoing investigation involving the home invasion and beating of 83 year old Fred Rooth at his rural Joy farmhouse over one week ago.
Information is being sought through Mercer County Crime Stoppers at 582-3500 or toll free at 800-582-2762. A reward fund is now up to at least $18,000.
