The Sherrard School District dealing with several student threats recently. Mercer County Sheriff Dave Staley addressed the Sherrard School Board about the issue last night. He says one of the threats was made by a student in 4th grade.
A total of four different threats were made earlier this month. In addition to last night’s regular meeting, the issue was also discussed at a special meeting a week ago in the Sherrard School District attended by both Mercer and Rock Island County law enforcement.
