Delores E. “Dee” Moser, 82 of Aledo, died Friday, August 14, 2026, at her granddaughter’s home in Seaton, Illinois. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 22, at Speer Funeral Home, Aledo, with visitation two hours prior to services beginning at 12 Noon. Burial will be in New Boston Cemetery, New Boston, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the Moser Family.
Delores Elaine was born on March 18, 1944, in Burlington, Iowa, to Cyrus H. and Aletha E. (Boyd) Folker. She married Edward Moser on June 24, 1961, in Burlington, Iowa. He preceded her in death on November 17, 2000.
Dee adored her family and was a devoted caretaker of them and her home. After the kids were all in school, she worked for John Deere, Maytag, Heinz, and Thatcher Plastics. In her spare time, she enjoyed being outside hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, and gardening. The family spent their summers canning the bounty of her garden. She also enjoyed sewing and baking her favorite pies and cookies. Dee was a die-hard Chicago Cubs and Bears fan and never missed Wheel of Fortune or Judge Judy.
Dee is survived by her children and spouses, Kimberly and Ron Parkinson, Kirk and Sunny Moser, Kendall Moser, Karla McDaniles and Gabriel Shields; grandchildren, Tyson and Brandy Wedekind, Randi and Richard Moulton, Amy and Derek Welch, Matt and Stacey Parkinson, Julayne Moser, Alex and Adriana Bond, Emery and Jungkyu Moser, Derek and Jessica Moser, Chelsi and Nawaf Alkhenaizi, Lisa and Brian Strom, Laci and Travis Adams, Levi Kron, Justice Shields, Lexi Shields, and Zachary Shields; 27 great-grandchildren; and a brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Roxi Folker.
Dee was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and siblings, Cyrus Folker, Dale Folker, Marvin Folker, Noman Folker, Robert Folker Paul Folker, Steve Folker, Virginia Carnes, Verlene Butts, Joyce Rutledge, Sharon Folker, and Verna Lubke.
