Orion (5-0) remained unbeaten in volleyball to win the Wethersfield Tournament in Kewanee Saturday. The Chargers beat Wethersfield in three sets in the championship, 18-21, 21-19, 15-7. Mercer County (2-4) took third place at the tournament, defeating Bureau Valley in the third place game in straight sets, 21-14, 21-16.
Sherrard (5-1-1) fell in the championship of the Early Bird Tournament in Spring Valley Saturday to Fieldcrest, 23-25, 25-22, 25-23.
