The Illinois High School Association released postseason seedings for the upcoming boys basketball postseason. The Rockridge Rockets (21-4, 11-0 TRAC West) earned the top-seed in the local 2A Orion sub-sectional. Rockridge made a trip to the state tournament last year, finishing fourth.
The rest of the top-four seeds are #2 Mercer County, #3 Farmington, and #4 Sherrard.
The regional sites for the sub-sectional are Rockridge and West Carroll.
The IHSA will release postseason pairings Friday. The high school boys basketball postseason begins Saturday, February 18, in Illinois.
