The $60,000 salary for the new Aledo Parks & Recreation Director will be shared between the City of Aledo, Aledo Park District, and Mercer County Family YMCA. That information came from Monday night’s Aledo City Council meeting. Mayor Chris Hagloch.
2002 Aledo High School grad Troy Blaser has been hired for the job. He currently serves as an athletic coordinator for Wilson Parks & Recreation in North Carolina. He’s scheduled to begin the Aledo position on Jan. 2. His office will be located at Aledo City Hall.
