Nancy J. Forrest, 91 of Sherrard, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at home. Visitation is 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, at Fippinger Funeral Home, Aledo. The funeral services will directly follow the visitation at noon. Burial is in the Aledo Cemetery. She was born May 23, 1931 in Prophetstown, Illinois, to Leon and Florence Allender Bedwell. Nancy married Garl A. Forrest February 13, 1960 in Moline. He passed away September 1, 2018.
Nancy retired from John Deere as an assembler.
She enjoyed fishing and was an avid Chicago Cubs, Bears, and golf fan.
Survivors include one daughter, Scotty Cook of Sherrard and two sisters-in-law, Shirley Dunn of Aledo and Ardis Hampton of Milton, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one sister, Marietta Lester.
