Mercer County junior Carson Boelens took first place individually at the Lincoln Trail Conference boys golf meet Wednesday with a score of 75. Boelens finished four shots better than United’s Carson Horner and A-Town’s Alex Foutch, who tied for second with scores of 79.
United won the conference meet with a team score of 344, 12 shots ahead of second-place A-Town (356). Mercer County finished third with a team score of 360.
