Mercer County defeated Newman Central Catholic by one shot, 179-180, in a Three Rivers Athletic Conference (TRAC) dual meet at Emerald Hill Golf Course in Sterling Wednesday.
Carson Boelens led the Golden Eagles with his score of 39, which earned him medalist honors. Evan Blaser fired a 43, Mark Graves shot a 48, and Grady Norton added a score of 50 to help Mercer County secure the conference win.
